Welcome to Hampton Mission Partnership
We are Christians from both Baptist and Methodist backgrounds working together to share the message of Jesus with our local community; loving God and loving people.
We are members of The Baptist Union of Great Britain and The Methodist Church in Great Britain
Sunday 26th June at 10:30am
Led by Rev. David Innes
‘Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep.’Psalm 36
Hampton Mission Partnership was formed in July 2019 by Hampton Methodist Church and Hampton Baptist Church coming together in response to God’s calling. We believe that at a future point God will guide us to become a Local Ecumenical Partnership but until that time we are working together to deliver His work in Hampton.
Our logo represents our calling. A single, unified church built by God from two flames – the Baptist and Methodist Churches in Hampton.
“To fulfil God’s will in love, word and power helping people to become fully committed followers of Jesus”
We believe God publishes his manifesto for our lives in many ways: through Creation, through human history, through our consciences, through everyday circumstances and an inner sense of guidance. Faith must produce change in our lives, or it is merely self-deception. Meeting regularly with other Christians and seeing how God is changing them, helps us to stay ‘on message’ and to grow more like Jesus. We need to develop self-discipline in our own spirituality, setting aside regular time for personal prayer, Bible study and reflection.
