Our very successful Messy Church has been running since 2009 and welcomes families from Hampton and the local area. Our sessions are usually held on Tuesday mornings of the half term holidays, with an additional session in the August summer holidays and a Christmas Messy Church event with Nativity.
Messy Church is free to attend and is suitable for children of all ages and parent/carer.
Activities are based around a story or theme from the Bible an children’s work can be taken home. Sometimes we may use them for our display!
We use a wide range of craft materials and textures offering children the opportunity to get creative (and sometimes messy!) with paint, draw, stick, glue, bake and more! There is always a ‘free play’ option and we also have a quieter area for parents with babies and toddlers, at the rear of the hall, consisting of soft play mats, books and soft toys.
Sessions last around one hour before we move into the adjoining hall for a Bible story and song. Refreshments are provided for children and adults. There is no charge to attend our Messy Church, although donations are always welcome.
