The Extra Mile work with health professionals, social workers and charities to provide essentials for children who are in need. Our aims and principles are to strive to go the ‘extra mile’ to help families in our community here in Hampton and beyond. We are a charitable outreach of Hampton Mission Partnership at Hampton Methodist Church and, since 2015, we have helped over 6000 children.

What we provide
We always need double buggies, cots (not mattresses), high chairs with trays, nappies (all sizes) and board books, all in good condition. We sometimes need children’s clothing, buggies, bouncy chairs, playmats, cot bedding, toys and books, again, all in good condition. If you would like to donate any of these please email info@theextramile.org.uk and we will let you know when to drop them off if we have a current need for them. All donations must now be pre-booked so we are not overwhelmed by your kindness!

Donations of goods and financial donations
We welcome financial donations to The Extra Mile to help purchase additional items, not donated. This can be done via cheque, payable to ‘Hampton Methodist Church’, (with the reference ‘TEM’) and posted to The Extra Mile, Hampton Methodist Church, Percy Road, Hampton, TW12 2JT. Or you can donate via bank transfer.
